Dr Whitney Davis is a GP Fellow and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, working as a Breastfeeding Medicine doctor in Tauranga. She has established and is co-director of a private breastfeeding medicine practice, Nurtured: Mother Baby Clinic, as well as the Tongue Tie Clinic at Tauranga Hospital. She has previously completed Neuroprotective Developmental Care accreditation through Possums Clinic, and is passionate about providing supportive dyadic care to mothers, babies and wider whanau during the First 1000 days. Whitney is currently co-chair of the newly established not-for-profit organisation Breastfeeding Medicine Association Aotearoa, and has previously sat on MOH committees including WHO Code Compliance Panel and the Infant and Young Child Feeding Committee.
